I'm planning on buying an Inspiron 6400 or 9400 from the Middle East. Will the prices over there be similiar to American prices or costlier. Can u plz gimme an idea of how prices will be in the Middle East.

Can't you just look on your Dell site?

The Dell Middle East site doesnt quote prices. I'm from India. Here Inspiron 6400 costs around $1170. Will the prices be cheaper in the Middle East?

Good luck buying the Inspiron 6400, the support in the middle east is the worst you will ever see ( Emirates Computers), it took me 2 months to fix my problems (under warrenty), actually it was one problem (motherboard) and after fixing it I get 2 new problems... a cd/dvd rom which isn't mine, and a whole LCD backcover filled with scratches! I had to open a fight with them to change the LCD backcover and it took them 6 weeks to replace it... believe me I have never seen worst then this. I have dealt with many companies but nothing like this... my suggestion... dont buy a dell from the middle east till they get a new agent to support/sell their products!
and for the price I bought mine a year ago (Core Duo 2.0, 512mb ram, ati x1400, 80gb hdd) for $1498 (5499 AED), now I think with a core 2 duo and more hdd and ram you would get it in the same price.

$1170 is not a bad price (outside U.S) if the configuration is good. Don’t buy from another country for a $100~200 difference unless you are going to stay there for a long time. Because you may end up paying a whole lot more if something goes wrong.
