I just received my new Inspiron 6000 and couldn't be happier with it. Just one nit picky question for everyone. The molding around the LCD display doesn't seem to fit nice and neat against the LCD. The molding on the bottom edge actually bows out from the LCD leaving a gap between the screen and the molding. I am not sure it that is common on these. I chatted with customer service and they said send it back but if this is common then I won't bother. Thanks!!

I'm not sure it's common, but I bet that happens a lot. If you're concerned about stuff getting down there, send it back in.

Mine actually does the same thing. I didn't notice it until you made the post. I am not too worried about it though, i think i am just going to leave it. I am sure it is common to most of the i6000.

I'm sure most of the laptops' screen & it's bezel has got some tiny gaps in between but as Brian says, if you're concerned, just send it back. :)

I ended up sending the laptop in for repair. The new bezel fits a lot nicer against the LCD that it did before. Thanks for all the input!
