    Hey guys.
I recieved my Inspiron 6400 (Canada) today. Currently I am hooked up on AC power and using the Notebook Hardware Control, I am averaging around 50c temperature for the CPU and 42ishC for the HDD. This is all while doing normal web surfing and stuff.
Are these temperatures normal? When do the fans kick in?
    Thanks for the help.

I would say that the temps are normal, I've just about the same specs, my temps are slightly lower taking in the fact that my notebook is larger.
