My M1210 was supposed to be here today... guess what? Somehow it is scheduled for a April 11 arrival now! Normally I won't care much, but the semester ends on April 16! Why the hell should I buy a laptop when I can only use it for school for 3 days?

Sending a request for faster (way, way, way faster) shipping to me now... When desperate, I can be extremely intimidating and obnoxious.. I'll try my best to keep my temper though. If they don't budge, I am cancelling it... I see no point in buying a laptop when the semester is ending.

Are you saying when you call them to ask about the delay they didn't have an explanation? It may be possible that a part is on back-order that they need to finish building your laptop. It does happen.

More of a question as to why it matters at all... 18 days vs 3 days. I hope you didn't buy it just for school usage. Focus on finishing up the semester well then play games/whatever to your heart's content.

Its probaly waiting on parts, and just a heads up, being a jerk doesnt net much gain from DELL, if your paitent, and calm with them, they usually treat you right.

I am good now. After a thought, I figure I don't need the M1210 for school for this time... Gaming FTW! :D
