    Hey guys,
Not sure what the issue is, but every time I wake my laptop (windows 10) from sleep it becomes almost unusable. Just randomly freezes for a second every like 5 or 10 seconds.

Looking at the task manager shows cpu spiking (and sometimes HDD). When the 'freeze' happens even the task manager stops updating its numbers so I'm not able to identify which process is the culprit.

However whenever it comes out of the 'freeze' state and the task manager updates it's number, I see cpu usage > 30% on the "System and compressed memory" process.

I have an i7559 dell inspiron laptop, installed all the latest drivers from the dell website and did a fresh install of windows.

    i5-6300HQ,
    1tb hdd + 256gb ssd
    16gb ram.
    Windows 10

    Thanks in advance

JazakAllah bro! Updated the bios and it seems to be working fine now!

For those who find this via search engine:
    • Nvidia driver I have: 359.06 downloaded from nvidias official websites
    • Intel driver I have: not sure, downloaded the one on dells website about a month ago
    • BIOS version I had which had the issue: 1.0.3
    • BIOS version which I now have (downloaded from dell website): 1.1.3
NOTE: driver files and such when downloaded at times run even if the download got corrupted. Be sure to make sure that the file downloaded correctly. At the very least, make sure that the size of the file after download is the same as the size of the file listed on the website from where you are downloading.
