This may be a really obvious question but performance wise, is laptop memory worse than desktop memory ?

I just got my XPS M1530 with 4 gig (capped to 3.5gig) DDR2 667mhz and was surprised to find that my memory performance score in Vista is lower than my desktop which has 2 gig of (i think) DDR400.

    Is this right ?

Possibly due to lower latencies. Remember the performance score is pretty useless.
