Laptop screen protector and Decalgirl skins for Dells?

Hey all, saw this "Screen protector" item.

What do you all think of it? Claims it will help the screen and keys when you close it etc, since it will wipe it when its closed or whatever. Whats your thoughts?

Also I contacted Decalgirl.com today in efforts to find out if they can make custom vinal skins for Dells =) Imagine all of us with the E1505 or E1705 etc... how we worry about discoloring with our palms, or those who rather not paint..

Well.. Vinal skins arent stickers.. but they are better, imagine slapping a custom fitted skin over your base of the laptop around the keyboard to avoid palm discoloring etc or just to keep the unit looking sharp etc.. what do you all think of that idea?

Im waiting on word to see what they tell me back as far as a custom order goes.. never know.. maybe we get lucky. =)

Nothing new. I've had my Shaggymac covering my 12" PB since 2002! Works like a charm and it is machine washable.

Tell us more about the shaggymat.. not sure fully how it helps us always.. since you have to always put it on before you close up etc.

Also Decalgirl replied back saying they dont take custom orders for laptops.. sigh..

I am replying back asking if I can get a solid vinal skin now which I could just cut out my own design or fit.. since I still think a vinal skin cover would be more ideal then a screen protector for resting on..
