WTF? Next day shipping not? It's shipping from tenessee, and wouldn't get here next day if they tried their hardest to. My sleeve shipped next day and it was actually next day. Shipped on the 20th, expected the 27th? Free or not, they're going to do something about it.
I don't wanna hear "we didnt have enough time" cause I had next day shipping since the 7th. Proof positive they tell you that **** and change it on their site just to get you to shut up and leave~>

What's a free coupon going to do? I'm not going to ask them for a free coupon for no reason. My original shipping was 3-5..they SUPPOSEDLY gave me next day, which was obviously bull****. I just talked to Dell, and the rep says "we will try to get the laptop to you by monday"..I'm like.. how are YOU going to do anything? the laptop is with DHL, you have no power over there process.

Yes, they do tell you lies, but they also compensate you for those lies. Just call and complain to dell and get a coupon for your trouble. That is all you can do. And when it arrives at the local distribution center just drive there and pick it up and get it a day earlier. There is nothing else you can do, and, honestly, getting a $50 coupon because they said they would upgrade you to next day FREE and not doing it is a pretty good deal imho.

You have been offered the suggestion to phone dell and try to get some compensation what else can you do? Too bad you're gonna get it a couple days later. If you hate dell so much, as it seems you do, why not just cancel your order and go elsewhere. At least stop waisting server bandwidth with countless threads of complaints

No wonder people are worried about their laptops and Dell service - a few select people are noisily protesting everything.
There's not much you can do at this point, b0r, other than call Dell and demand some sort of compensation. As you said, it's with DHL now and Dell has no further say about how quickly it's delivered. As a result, the only thing you can achieve at this point is compensation from Dell. -
This happened to me with my 1520--I called DHL and they expedited it so got here next day anyways. Mine was only a couple hundred miles away, though, so YMMV.

Try this. Do not complain anymore until Monday comes and goes and you do not have your laptop. Asking for compensation now just makes you a crybaby. It shipped on the 20th, DHL has until the 23rd to Deliver it (one business day), then you have a valid complaint. Right now, you are just wasting people's time with all the crying, go get a pacifier or something. -

im confused, on their website it says they have Saturday delivery but... is that even considered a business day? or is that only for customers that specifically noted that it should be shipped on a saturday?

considering the OP was debating whether he would sell the system locally or return it to Dell, i don't understand how he can feel so entitled to additional compensation from Dell. i eagerly await Monday's post where he complains that Dell didn't ship the box in a container of forged steel, nor lined the inside with satin velvet so as to perfectly protect his much prized system.

I have Next Day shipping on the Dell website as well, but DHL shows it as ground express or whatever. However, my estimated shipping date is Monday the 23rd, which would technically make it next business day shipping. On the other hand, I do live one state away from Tennessee, so that could be a factor. Hope you get yours soon b0r, god knows how long we've waited!!

You can never pinpoint a delivery date. There are obstacles such as traffic, and delayed flights that occur daily all over the country. They are in the business of making money, and the faster they get a load to a destination, the faster they can get a load back, and the more money the driver makes. So you can bet they are trying their best to get everything everywhere as quickly as possible.

My laptop is being shipped by DHL Express Ground and here's what i get. Using my tracking number DHL website says that I refused delivery and then it says the package will be returned to shipper. I have never refused the delivery because the courier has never arrived, i spent the whole weekend at home waiting for my laptop and no one showed up. I called DHL representative yesterday and she said that it is still at their facility and it will be delivered today by noon, like earlier no one showed up. I emailed DELL and DHL and I am waiting for answers. What else should i do? The whole situation confuses me
