    Hi...

    I'm looking for a simple laptop sleeve that will provide some protection for my Vostro 1500. There are lots of options for 15 inch widescreens, but I can't tell which ones will accommodate the 1500 when combined with the extended battery.

    Anyone have any recommendations?

    The laptop will be placed in the sleeve which will then go into the laptop section of my backpack.

    Double bonus points if I can order directly from Amazon, since I have free shipping through prime.

    the proportions of the vostro 1500 makes it more squarish than most 15inch wide screens. the 9cell exaggerates that. I would simply take the 9 cell off.

    I have not found a sleeve that will take the vostro.......the 1500 might just fit into a 17inch sleeve if you take the 9 cell off.. its simply too big. most of the sleeves on the market are for Macbooks and Thinkpads. I suppose most Pc geeks just use a backpack or one of the ugly laptop cases from targus or bundled with the notebook.
