Hey guys I have a old Dell inspiron and it does something wierd.

When I start it up it starts in external monitor mode - I see the Blue dell bios splash and the windows XP with the green bar, then after that- the screen turns black (so it toggles to the external monitor mode), and it doesnt work when I press fn+(f8,f5,f6 etc..) to revert back into the internal LCD, however, If i connect it to an external monitor and then press fn+f8 it displays on the external monitor, then I press fn+f8 again and then it toggles back to my laptop internal LCD screen, so its not a problem with the LCD or anything, just the toggling?

Anyone have the same problem as me? and how do I solve this? Thanks!
