    Laptopvideo2go drivers safe?

    received my vostro 1500 a while ago and am upgrading drivers. Are there any risks to using those drivers? Thanks.

    They are excellent drivers just make sure you get the right ones. (Xp/Vista 32/64)

    no m8 they're very safe, i've been using them for over a year and nothings hapened, but as flamenko said get the right ones

    Yeah, I believe all the laptopvideo2go drivers are just the Nvidia desktop card drivers and the people on the site alter the .inf file to allow the drivers to install for the notebook cards.

    Exactly right...

    If you are super worried you can always just download the drivers directly from Nvidia and throw in the laptopvideo2go modded INF and be fine ;)

    Depends what you mean by safe :)

    Generally speaking, I have seen faster video benchmarks at the potential expense of stability (e.g. sleep/hibernation issues) compared to the stock Dell drivers.

    If you run into problems however, the drivers are easy enough to reinstall.
