So is today the final day for the Inspiron $300 off coupon, or will there be more in the future? Also, I tried applying the coupon online to a $1358 1520 and it said that this coupon has been previously redeemed, what the?

And to any 1520 owners, how do you feel about its portability? Do you take it with you often, or does it sit on your desk?

they're probably gonna take off the "free" HD and RAM though, so in the end, it all balances out.

with the new deals, if dell doesnt offer free ram and HD on the 1420, do you guys recommend getting a 1gb dim only and i can purchase another one separately? do you know how warranty would work as well as installation? thanks!

^It would certainely be cheaper to do it yourself, but I'm not sure if that affects warrenty or not.
