Have a D830 and and purchased an APC SurgeArrest Notebook Surge Protector. (2 Prong compatible) After connecting inline with my brick, power wasn't getting to the laptop as the indicator in my system tray showed I was still running on batt. I remove surge protector and power flows through. Anyone else have this issue? I definitely will go back to exchange for another but wanted to see if there were any known issues with this product and the Lat's. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the surge protector has been tripped, have you checked it to see if it needs to be reset?

UPDATE: It was a defective APC surge arrest. Exchanged it for another and it worked.
