How long did you wait for your E6500/400? less than two weeks?

Where are you? Europe and North America probably have different production / shipping times.

What is the system predicting for your order? If the date isn't looking good then contact your account manager. Sometimes the choice of components can cause delays.

Or go round to Dell Outlet and get a ready-made computer off the shelf (and save money).

As John mentioned, purchasing from the Dell outlet would be another option. I ordered my E6400 from the outlet and received it in 3 business days (5 total) with their standard free shipping.

I'm trying to check out a E6400 from the dell business outlet, but i stopped because i'm concerned the order isn't going to go through. There is a required field concerning a phone number for my business that is on record with dell (or something). I don't have that. will I still be able to order it from the outlet? do i need to talk to a sales rep while i do the order? should i just order over the phone?

I ordered two E6400 from dell (not the outlet) on a Monday morning and received them Friday at 2:00 using next day business delivery. Very Impressive!
