Hi,
I configured the embassy wave software on my friends new latitude d430 by going to embassy software and selected windows login tab and I have selected
login with windows password OR biometric
secondly, we recorded her finger prints i.e. we just used index finger and software asked for it 4 times. Not sure if we could have different fingers but we just used index finger.
so this was done and finally it said we need to restart system since I selected windows secure login which was mentioned in help guide that its a must to have biometric thingy working...
so we restarted and we saw that windows login dialog box was different to the usual dialog box. We tried logging in using the finger but nothing happened i.e. it doesnt say if it worked or if it wasnt verified. We see the same login screen and nothing happens. So We used username pwd to login...uname pwd works fine...
So my question is...what did i miss here.... why we are not able tologin using the finger printing option... in my other system, when we swipe finger, it logs in automatically.
plz help
