i just purchased a new Dell Latitude 520.It comes with Philips DVD +- RW.
If i put a CD or DVD with music it can play the siongs through the WindMedia Player.no problems, but I just cannot see the files through the Windows Explorer;no matter if I double-click on the DVD icon on My Computer or if I right-click on it and then click on Explore,it jist doesent show anything...i wonder if it is a wWindows set-up problem or there.s something with the Optical Device driver'or with the Philips Device itself...
Anybody that have encountered such a problem?

I had that same problem on my 640m. I reinstalled the drivers and ran Dell Diagnostics from boot up (press F12 when the Dell logo appears) and the problem was fixed.
