I am looking at maybe getting a Latitude 7390 i5-8350, 512gd sdd, 16gb ram, full hd touchscreen for 600 dollars. But I also have the option for Thinkpad x390 i5-8265, 256 gb ssd, 8 gb ram, full hd touch screen for 650 dollars.

I am leaning more towards the latitude simply beacuse the specs, but I think I prefer thinkpad otherwise. Have not used either.
I am a student so portability, battery life and quiet fans are important for me.
Would be nice to get some feedback from people who have used the latitude 7390 to give some feedback.

I like dell computers. So naturally I would recommend dell. Have a look at the inspiron line as well. I got my 13 5000 for 549 cdn and then upgraded the hd to an ssd and added 16gb of ram for about 120 extra. I love it. 2 in 1 for factor, does everything I need has good battery life and is quite portable. Everything I need to do work and play.
