I was interested in getting bluetooth on a D 830. I am curious to know if it is internal, or requires a USB adapter for it to work.

the detailed info on the dell website said the following "Form Factor Internal daughter card with integrated antenna and USB host interface "

the "USB host interface" is throwing me off...so is it internal or external.

    thanks for any help.

Internal, I bought it so I don't have to carry and extra USB around and it won't hog up another USB slot.

The service manual has a nice picture with directions for installation.

bluetooth is usually bundled with the wireless card as an option if im not mistaken s therefore its internal
if you do like to save a few $$ you could always buy an external USB bluetooth dongle but not that it would not be as convinient as the former option
