This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Latitude D430 released?!

    While taking a look at the dell website (just out of interest) to see what would be equivelent or better to my laptop (Latitude D610), I noticed that they now had the D430 available. This surprised me, as my notebook was only bought very recently and I was also rather annoyed to see that there was already a newer model.

    However, looking at the specs, it seems to be exactly the same as the D420; same processor and RAM choices, same graphics card. So i'm wondering: What is going on here?
