This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Latitude D620 broadband wireless - now or later?

    I'm on the cusp of buying the D620, and while I don't currently have a need for the EVDO or HSDPA wireless broadband options, I might in the future. Can these internal cards be added and installed after the fact? Will it cost more than the $179 (EVDO) or $225 (HSDPA) if I wait?

    Call them up and ask. You can check the manual on their website to see if it is possible.
