Ok, so I have a D620 with Windows Vista on it. And when it heats up to a certain point, then the processors start to max out, they bounce between no usage and 100% a couple times a second. It only starts doing this after it has heated up a bit to about 46C. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be going on?

Maybe dust is blocking the vents? I had that happen with a Sony VAIO desktop, and it drove me nuts until the tech found the simple reason.

Did you read my post? Why would dust blocking the vents make the processor max out when it gets hot? It doesn't get hot because its maxing out, it only maxes out AFTER it gets hot.
Oh, and to answer your question, yes I've cleaned out the vents, besides, its been doing this since I got it.
