I have read a lot about the delays that people are experiencing with their Dell notebooks but this mostly seems to be with Vostro/Inspiron systems.

However, I ordered a Latitude D630 on 24th July and it has been in pre-production ever since. Original Estimated Delivery Date was 13th August, however before that date came, I was informed that the estimated date had moved to 3rd September. It's still in pre-production.

I guess that whatever is causing the delays Dell are currently experincing, it is also affecting Notebooks in general... My spec below:

    Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2Ghz
    14.1 WXGA 1400x900
    2GB RAL
    120GB 7200 RPM HDD

Really itching to get this - anyone else suffering a delay on their Latitude order?

I ordered a D630 on 25 July - and my expected ship date has been 24 August from the time of purchase. I don't think that will hold up, but technically it hasn't been delayed yet - just taking a long time...

I'm in the States, though, so I don't know if makes me any better off than you or not for Dell purposes.

    Good luck.

If the US/UK m1330 orders are anything to go by, you will indeed be better off than us, martinl10. :(
