    Any comments here?
My only thing that I wonder is if I should go to the lowest memory configuration and then just buy a memory stick from either dell.com or newegg (512mb or 1gb stick of 533mhz).

Also does anybody have any latitude coupons?

    Thanks

Welcome to our forums. I can't really comment on the 810 itself because I haven't used it.

Based on what you posted, you have a good system (seems similar to a desktop replacement). If you plan on upgrading your memory as soon as you get your laptop, then go with the 256. If you are going to have to wait a few months to upgrade, then go with 512. XP Pro has a difficult time running on anything less than 512. Personally, I think it has problems with 512. Plus, Dell is pretty expensive when it comes to ran, and especially compared to Newegg.

Unfortunately, Dell doesn't issue latitude coupons very often. They usually give their discounts directly on their site as well as free upgrades and giveaways with the latitude series.

Southern I agree with you about XP and 512. both of my XP computers run on a gig. Thanks for the reply.

Basically what I plan to is buy this and replace the basic 256, dell charges $98 for a single 512 mb stick and I can get this transcend GB stick for $116 about and I even checked with Transcend to make sure it works. It does. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820208024

Any other comments and does anybody have any other coupons?

    Thanks
