I know the native resolution of the Latitude D830 WSXGA+ model is 1680x1050. Does anyone have one with the integrated X3100 graphics that can tell me what other resolutions are supported by the onboard screen? Thanks!

You are really only going to want to run it at native resolution...anything lower is not going to look good.

I totally understand and plan to work at the native resolution most of the time. But sometimes when my eyes are tired and I'm just working on a Word doc or something simple, I like to go to a lower resolution for a while. I've never used an WSXGA+ laptop before so I'm curious what other resolutions it can do.

Do you currently have the laptop, if so just try it. Otherwise with my 8600M it supports all the lower resolutions.

Unfortunately, I don't have it. I'm looking to purchase but would like to know before I get it.

You should really consider looking at one before you buy it.

Would love to but unfortunately I don't know anyone with a D830. I went to a bunch of electronics stores last night looking for anyone with a 15.4" LCD at 1680x1050. I only found one but it was a really strange white box gamer laptop and all the lower resolutions were standard aspect ones, not wide aspect, which didn't seem right.
