I'm seeing lots of Latitude E5570s on Ebay for great prices, but all the ones I've seen so far have the 4 cell battery. Would I be able to buy one of these laptops and just buy the 6 cell battery separately?

As long as it has the m.2 drive you will be fine. If it has a 2.5" drive, the 6 cell will not fit.

I have the same question. I ordered an E5570 specifying 6-cell battery but the machine arrived with 4-cell. I've checked US and Taiwan Dell sites and forums and could not find any sign of independently-buyable 6-cell battery for E5570. I asked both Taiwan and US Dell about this but just couldn't get a reply.
