Anyone have one of these? I might want to pick one of these up just to surf the web/email and type, etc.

I had one, bought it in 2003 and sold it last year. It was great, never had a problem with it. The battery life stinks with the standard battery though(1.5-2 hours)...with the extended battery it lasted 4-5 hours, but made a lot heavier and larger.

My dad has one. Still in pretty good working condition on the fifth year. Pretty nice for an ultraportable, specially for 2003. More than capable for "netbook" functions.

Battery did suck though. I don't think he ever got more than an hour or two and it stopped holding a charge on the third year. The screen is also getting pretty loose, but I don't know if that's due to heavy use or a poor hinge design.

Thanks for the reviews. I have the opportunity to pick one up with dock and such for about $200... I'm wondering if I should do it since I just need an thin client for browsing, emails, etc..

Sounds like a really good deal. I sold mine without the dock for $400 last fall. I kind of wish i had kept it though, but i may just buy an eee pc now.
