    Hi there.

I have a problem with my not-even-a-year-old latitude d820. After startup, the screen stays completely black and after a minute or so the caps lock and scroll lock lights begin to blink. When I connect it to a monitor, everything works.
The funny thing is, this happened while the laptop was sitting in it's bag in a closet.
Anybody had anything like this before? Any ideas?

    Thanks for any help

P.S. Please don't write "send it back to Dell, you have warranty" - I bought it in the states, so I have warranty only for there, but I'm in Europe right now - deep **** :(
