    Are the warranties on Dell Inspiron notebooks transferable? I received the notebook new and unopened, but I didn't buy the computer from Dell. I bought it from another company that had originally purchased it for business use from a broker, but then when it was decided that it wasn't needed they sold it to me. I am really interested to know if I can get Dell's 3-year warranty on Latitude notebooks in my name.

    ~~~I am looking to buy someone's left over 512MB DDR-2 PC4200 SODIMM
    ~~~(maybe out of a Dell Inspiron 6000, 9300, XPS, or Latitude D810)
    ~~~If you've got one to spare, please let me know.
