    Lenovo ThinkPad T61 or Dell D630

    They almost have the same features. Thinpad T61 has a bit higher price... which one I should go for?

    I have the D630 and get over 4 hours under normal usage on the 6 cell, plus you can simply press a button, pull out the dvd drive and put in a 2nd 6 cell media bay battery for about 8 hours of use! My understanding is that a major gripe on the T61 is poor battery performance. I LOVE MY D630!

    I get over 6 and a half hours of battery on my T61's 9 cell.

    And the T61 features the UltraBay battery (optional, of course) for a total of 12 cells.

    I personally love my T61, and recommend it to anyone looking for a strong business notebook.

    The 9 cell is only available for the T61 15.4'' widescreen and the 14'' standard screen. The T61 14'' widescreen does not offer a 9 cell battery, only 4, 6, and 7 cell.

    That's the first first-hand report I've seen of good battery life on a T-61.
