Nope, that looks about right I received my m1530 two weeks after ordering it, and that was when everything was on backorder.

It should ship by then, but then again, it is very common to them to delay it again. That is a very early ship date. I have been waiting almost 4 weeks now, and mine is still in production.

Don't believe anything a rep tells you if you call to follow up. No one seems to know whats going on.

    Good luck.

I dunno. I don't play games. Should be fine. My old ass XP2000+ system with a crappy AGP video card ran WoW very well when I was trying it out.

Dell Sales Representative "You're laptop will ship ON or BEFORE the ESD"

So, when someone tells me something, Im supposed to know its a lie?

I have transcripts of them saying this on the support chatroom. I'll be searching legal recourse if Im put on delay when I was told this numerous times as I was not happy with the date of the ESD.

I'll be happy with the laptop, if I get it. If they give me an email with a 20 day delay when they promised me it would ship on or before the ESD as I was reluctant to order, then yes, I will take legal recourse (lawyers in the family)

Good to hear, this 6150 Go cant play WoW on anything other than 1024x768 with everything scaled completely down

Meh. You won't get **** in court.

They will offer you a refund and tell you to pound sand.

They lie all the time. I gave up calling because everyone tells me something different. The best I can do now is wait until I get it, then start calling every day demanding compensation for my wait.

You wont get nothing in court if you dont have a family with lawyers in it. I know in Ohio we have the BBB, Better Business Beer-o! (lol sp) and things like repeatidly misrepresenting information can become a liability. Ofcourse I dont want or acutally plan on doing anything like that.

Are you on backorder because of your HD? Is anything of my specs behind?

Lol...someone is a bit cranky. I'd like to see you take Dell to court on this...you'll probably end up wasting more time and in the end you might not even have a laptop to show for it! Wouldn't that be something?

If they do not ship it by then, you have the legal option to cancel your order and take your business elsewhere. They will not charge you. IF they denied you that option then you could. BUT THEY DON'T.

Quit being sue happy. I dislike people with your mentality.

Well when its free to sue, and you can sue for more than just the laptop, read your laws!

Last year a radio station here had a Announce run a message all day long that was wrong on a Subwoofer Tube System for your car, he said it was 19.99 instead of 199.99. The store was forced to sell the subwoofers for 19.99, they then sued and recovered losses from the Radio Station.

Price mistakes happen all the time. They do not have to honor them.

Is there an order agreement you are supposed to read?

**** happens. Items become out of stock. Battery factories burn down.

Good luck if you do sue. I hope you order is delayed, becase i'd like to see the outcome of this.

You could have the ghost of Johnny Cochran representing you in court, and Dell will still have better lawyers, and probably couter-sue for wasted time, and WIN!

And yeah, the battery you ordered is the same one I am waiting for.

You guys are missing the point, in Ohio its illegal for a company to make false promises, stop blowing this out of proportion. Its 98% chance of not happening. It is possible though, and no Dell would NOT take it to court. They would settle out of court.

I don't think they would settle. They would allow you to return. Did you read what you agreed to when you ordered yet?

I would suggest calling customer service and griping to them. Tell them you're thinking of cancelling your order because of the delay. They may knock off some money from the price..when I returned my 1525 (because integrated graphics sucks) they offered me 100.00 to keep it.

I ordered mine the day before th OP and got the next day option too. I was also advised that the ESD (6/4) and EDA (6/5) meant on or before said dates.

I'm assuming your in my boat and need the notebook by that date or you wouldn't of chosen the overnight option like me.

Also, I've been getting worried after reading the horror stories of Matt etc.

Hope there are no more delays and everyone gets theirs soon.

I think if you sued, you're incredibly impatient and the type that only let people work on your schedule. You are getting a new computer. I would rather wait and make sure everything runs and well instead of getting something early thats defective or has a wrong part. Just quit the whining and wait. Plenty of people do it. It won't kill you.

This isnt about me getting it around the ESD, this isnt about anything you morons keep going on about and putting me down for, IM NOT GOING TO SUE THEM. But, if it is not a promise to ship on or before ESD yet tell customers lies that its their company policy to ensure so, then that is fruad, and it would be a eaisly won case. In Ohio atleast..

Dude, my order was on May 13th, and ESD was JUNE 12th. it was in building, but today it went in the testing stage! SO cool! I have a feeling I might get mine next week hopefully.
