I placed an order for a new Studio 1558 and noticed it comes with 1 yr free of LoJack. Its really not a big deal, but the LoJack seems kind of big brotherish for me and I think I'd just as soon not have it. Does the LoJack come pre-activitated or will I be given the choice of opting out of it if I don't want to use the service? From what I've heard, its extremely difficult, almost impossible, to get rid of once its been activated. I would think you have to register with the LoJack company before its activated like with the free subscriptions they give to anti-virus software with new PCs.

This is actually my second one. The first Studio 1558 I returned because the toolbars in AutoCAD ate too much screen real estate with the 1366 x 768 resolution. Dell customer service was extremely nice, took it back, reimbursed shipping, and didn't charge any restocking fees. I ordered the same package from the EPP except with the 1080p screen, and the first one had no mention of the LoJack on the receipt and I don't recall it having it.
