So, you are a cheap bastard who got a bottom-of-the-line I6000 at a amazing price, but now you are green with envy looking at all those "high speed" models, and wish you had gotten a faster machine...

    Well, WHAT TO DO???

How'bout do what *this* guy did:

    [ :D]

Granted he modded it in an i9300 chasis, but hmm... I couldn't think of any reason why this wouldn't work in I6000. I mean as far as I know all Dell shares the same type of BIOS, plus the I6000 *is* capable of 533mhz FSB.

So Voila -- you can upgrade your lowly P-M 715 1.5ghz to a godly P-M 760 2.0ghz! So... urmmmm... any volunteers? haha

    cheers,

    yass

P.S. I'd gladly do it myself if just for the heck of it, but since I have a 2.0ghz I9300, the point is rather moot... lol

P.P.S. Unless you are quite good at hiding your "damage", kiss your warranty goodbye if you plan to do this...
