I tried searching for something on this but I didn't find anything. If I didn't search hard enough and there's already a thread on this then please excuse this.

I have an XPS M1330 and I had a motherboard replacement. After the replacement the computer hasn't been calling in Lojack. I tried re-installing and calling in from the Lojack website but when I try to do a test call it says "Test call could not complete. The test call could not complete because the subscription you selected doesn't match the computer that you are currently using."

After the motherboard replacement I was having problems with my anti-virus program and it had to do with my service tag not being found so i figured that was probably the same problem that Lojack was having. I went into BIOS and put in my old service tag myself because the tech didn't do it. (I should also note that when I try to have the Dell support website detect my service tag automatically it doesn't find it.) My anti-virus is working now but I'm getting the above message from Lojack.

If anyone else has had a motherboard replacement and had this same problem, did you get it resolved and if so how? I don't know what could be the problem.

    Edit:
Ok guys nevermind. I just removed it and reinstalled and did a test call and it seemed to have gone through. If it doesn't make regular calls and I have more problems then I'll come back and edit this.

Personally Id be happy, but if you truely want lojack you may want to check BIOS.
