I want to know the longevity of a Dell outlet laptop from those who have been using it (especially Dell XPS m1330). Thank for your vote.

I just bought my first refurbed DeLL laptop. Personally I don't see why it shouldn't last as long as a new laptop. My understanding is a certified refurbed laptop is tested for problems prior to being sold at the outlet store.

Also I believe these are the laptops that are returned within 21 days of ownership as well. Even if the laptop were to be run 24x7 for 21 days it's not enough to drastically shorten the life of the unit. The laptop is also backed with a 1 year warranty similar to a brand new product from DeLL.

I purchased a Vostro 1500 and with some basic cleaning you or I could not tell whether it was new or used.

I've bought two refurbished laptops and three desktops in the past 3 years. Haven't had any problems with any of them.

Purchased this laptop through Dell Outlet, no problems. Had a previous Dell (Inspiron 8600) purchased through Dell Outlet in 2004 or 05. Worked fine for the 4-5 months I owned it.
