Looking at this 2 in 1 14" inspiron for my businesses.

I was looking at going with a new surface pro x for on site duties but I think, I may save a bunch of money, and get this 14" 2 in 1 instead. I can still have clients sign documents, etc using the pen. What I am wondering do you think 4tb drive will work on this machine and what about 64gb of ram? Everything else would be great, and I can then move my current 2 in 1 to my son to replace his aging acer s3. The power in this new machine is twice what I have now, so that's an upside for me for sure.

12GB is a bit weird, since its running mixed mode out of the box.

 

That's just what dell does sometimes. puts an 8 and a 4 in. It would be coming out right away anyways. I would be installing 2 32s.

 

A little update on this. My current computer has developed a touchscreen issue. We thought it was a connection loose but its not. So, I will be moving ahead with the purchase of this device. I will put the 16gb in my current device into the new one until I can max out the ram and also install the second ssd for storage as well. I am excited as I will now have pen support with my two in one device. Update as soon as it arrives.

4 month update. This device is awesome. I have been doing creative work and writing on it constantly since I bought it. It's exceeded my expectations. I just picked up a new assignment where I will be producing a group of articles and videos about adventure riding in Newfoundland. Should be a great series for their website and magazine. Side benefit, the wife is finally going to get a dual sport motorcycle and ride with me! Time to get some action cameras for the bikes too!
