Hehe. That's exactly the same case. My wife does not want to hear about a laptop without it but she does want 15".
I saw toshibas that have it but I really prefer to stick with Dell.

I don't remember seeing a Dell with the 15.6 inch screen that also had the keypad. But HP and Toshiba offer it. I have an HP and have been completely satisfied. I bought the HP-G series, which is the economy model. I agree that I wouldn't want a larger notebook without the keypad. Once you've used one, you really miss its convenience. Here's a link you can look at:

    HOLD THE PRESSES!!
Upon further investigation, I have found, perhaps, what you are looking for and I didn't know Dell was offering. It's at Best Buy:

Above link doesn't always get you to the laptop. Sorry. Here is the model number. Just go to the Dell laptops and select 15-16 inch models and scroll through them. It is a "New" model. Good luck. Hope she likes it. It might come in other colors if she isn't fond of red computers!

Personally I just use a USB numeric keypad when I need to; though it is a little bit of an inconvenience, it gets the job done.

I could never get on with those number pads that were a function of other keys; those were prevalent on a number of 15" notebooks. Alas, even these are no more for quite a lot of notebooks now.

Yeah, I have been looking for a Dell laptop with number keypad. Finally I find it. You can look for Dell Inspiron 1564. It is the one you need and I need too ^_^.
