I've been searching for ~2 weeks now, trying to get the best possible price on the Latitude X1. Unfortunately, however, the Dell coupons have been bereft of discount opportunites for any of the Latitude models.

Does Dell ever release coupon codes for Latitudes?

Should I keep waiting for one or just hope that they will have an on-site sale like instant $400-off instead?

Anyone have suggestions for alternate retailers that might be able to provide X1's for a better price that the Dell Outlet?

All help is much appreciated, thanks.

I'd head over to Slickdeals and Fatwallet. If there is a coupon, it usually posts there pretty quickly. I seem to recall some discount on the X1 a while, maybe not, they all kinda run together. Also check out the deals section on our homepage. Something may pop up there. May want to check out ebay, sometimes there are coupons for sale there as well.

Dell never really releases coupons for the Latitude models, although they do have instant rebate coupons from time to time that are decent through the SB store. Right now I know of nothing exception for the Latitude X1...must be selling well for them!

Oddly enough, when I spoke to a Dell representative on the phone yesterday, I was told the X1 model had been discontinued a week ago. He seemed genuinely surprised when i told him that I saw one for sale on the SB Dell site. Was this just a matter of an uninformed employee?

You can get $500 off all Latitudes right now, if the price is $1699 or greater.
