    Looking for a backlit keyboard for Studio 17.

    Anybody know how I would get my hands on a 1080 LED screen for my Studio 17. It's the new 17 with the i7, if that makes a difference.

    You want the screen or the keyboard? Either way, the i7 Studios are a bit too new for eBay parts (and almost certainly not compatible with 1725/1737 parts), so you're probably going to have to get these from Dell. No reason they shouldn't sell 'em to you though.

    Talked to Dell... no go. Representative just told me that cannot sell me the 1080 LED screen or the backlit keyboard.

    So it looks like I have to wait for them to show up on ebay.

    Send an email to fabio_mejia[at]dell.com. He set me up with an order for a backlit keyboard for my 1555, which was still pretty new at the time. He might be able to help you order one for your new Studio 17.
