    Hi there,

My Inspiron 1420 laptop accidentally fell about 4ft from a counter. The only issue that I have encountered as a result is that whenever I am playing audio, the sound seems to stutter regularly once every 3 seconds or so. During the rest of the time, the sound is completely fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

No, everything was working fine before - no ram or cpu problems or anything.

Open up the laptop and reseat all the stuff you can take out yourself. After a hit like that stuff is bound to be loose
