So, I have got my SXPS16 for 4 years, this is the spec.

    i7 Q820 1.73 GHz
    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670
    SSD 256GB
    8G Ram
    RGB LED screen

By and large, it is a good laptop, impressive I/O with SSD, vivid color on RGB LED screen, smoothly operate in OS, except the throttle issue.

Every time when I play League of Legend it's always overheating then throttle even I have adjusted all the graphic options to lowest, sometime event worse, it shut down randomly. That is not good when you play teamwork online game......

And one noticeable thing is, not sure whether it is overheating problem, when I play LOL with my friend( His laptop is HP probook, its spec is P8700, ATI Radeon HD 43xx, 4G RAM), my network connection delay increased randomly, but my friend's is normal all the way. That really make me upset...and he doesn't have any throttle problem like me.

I have read many threads here and tried many ways to solve the overheating and throttle, but not improved significantly so eventually I decide to give up.

My need is just play simple game like league of Legend, I hope I can turn on all effects to high, and of course the screen, I need wide gamut screen. Having searched for many threads, found many alternatives, like on this http://forum.notebookreview.com/what-notebook-should-i-buy/697766-laptops-fhd-1920x1080-ips-displays-2.html

I prefer dell outlets because it's cheap, just like my refurbished SXPS 16.

M4700 and M6700 both have IPS screen which definitely fit my need, but I don't really like the pointer stick, same on HP EliteBook 87xx and 85xx

I saw some people said Dell XPS 15 R+GB screen is good, but I could not find any compared posts or video. Does anyone know how the R+GB screen looks like compare to SXPS 16?

Also I need powerful CPU because I am a programmer.

It should be the glare 95% gamut TN panel(see here), so it's slightly worse than the RGBLED screen in the Studio XPS 16, but nonetheless it's one of the best panels. I think the exact model is AUO B156HW01 v5, so it's also used in Sager NP9150 laptops.
