Right now I am kind of leaning towards a thinkpad t61p but the 5-7 weeks for shipping is a bit of a deterrant. Battery life for me is not a huge concern, I am basicly looking for a nice laptop that can handle accounting programs, but preferable also handle some RTS games.

I can price a nice T61P at about $1200 CND. That is with free shipping, but also getting a discount through visaperks. I was wondering if there were any suggestions on dells to look into. Also is shipping still going to run me 100+ if I am in Canada?

Which is okay considering that not only you get a powerful gaming machine for the 2k, it also doubles as a boat anchor!
