As per the post title, I won't bore you with how this came about but in a nutshell I deleted the Dell Media Direct Partition.

I still have the EISA partition at the start of the disk.

What I need to know is if it's possible to re-partition the 2-3GB space or whatever for Dell Media Direct then re-install it without having to do a fresh install of Vista.

I thought about doing a Ghost backup of my drive onto my NAS server and then copying it back across after doing the re-partitioning but wasn't sure if it would then re-write the partition table again as it previously was...

    What should I do?

    Thanks, Chris.
