    OS: Windows 7 64 bit
    Processor: t8500
    Video Card: 8600m gt
    Ram: 4 gigs
    Notebook: Vostro 1500

    3dmark06 score: 2300.

I'm pretty sure this is abnormal, what do you guys think is the issue? I tried several drivers: some 19x.xx drivers and some 18x.xx drivers, of which I'm currently using 185.85 dox. The speeds are all around 2200-2400. Default settings used in 3dmark06.

My personal best 8600m GT performance was with the 19x.xx dox one. Something is definitely wrong with that since, albeit at a lower resolution (1280*800), I can hit over six thousand with a good overclock. One thing I need before I can even speculate as to what the problem is would be what the different scores from 3dmark06 were (both of the gpu scores and the cpu score all separate). That way we can at least know if the cpu or the gpu is the problem.

Edit: Also have hwmonitor running while you run 3dmark06 so we can see if it's a heat issue. *LINK*

With that card, 8600M GT, thats normal, your score is probably not higher because of your CPU. You'll also need to run it at the default settings.

Here is my Inspiron 1720 (8600M GT) with stock clocks, the overclocked ones (my higest to date) are linked to my sig. These cards are old and out dated. 128bit with DDR2 and only 256mb of memory.

I forgot about that, mine has GDDR3 not DDR2, so I really don't know what scores should be for that version.
