Ok, i have reformatted my i9300 2 days ago and installed all the updates for XP and also the drivers for x300..I just runed the PcMark05(internet disconnected, msn, aim,.such disabled) I got a 2517./..before reformetting i had a 2481???
here is the specs.
Pentium M 2.0
1GB dual ddr2
128mb X300
80GB 5400rpm
I have norton antivirus installed and was still enabled during the test, but still, would it affect that much?
Here are my questions,
My cpu`s driver shown at the device menager is from year 2002?
i checked the intel`s web page and couldnt find anything!
Chipset drivers are also new, just downloaded from intel!
X300`s driver is 2/21/2006 catalyst mobility..
How come I got such a low score?
Thanks!
P.S. Those who got a high score, can you tell me which drivers are you all using?

Uninstall Norton NOW, useless peice of ****, system hogging. If you want higer marks try Omega Drivers, now that should atleast increase it quiet a bit as they are gaming drivers
.
Something I dont get, you got 2517 now and 2481 before...so what are you complaining about. You got higer marks... -
well, i am colplaining because, i should have gotten higher scores with this specs..increase was because of the uninstalled useless softwares.. But still something over 3000 is acceptable i think!

Not with a X300. Run 3DMark05 and tell me what you get.
Also did you uninstall Norton yet? It should really boost your marks inclusive of the Omega Drivers.
Though make sure that before you install Omega Drivers, you FULLY uninstall your old Video Card Drivers. -
Hey don't feel to bad, I can't even run anything beyond 3dmark 2003. Although I can run PCmark 05 which I will now try, to my inevetable shame

The score you recieved is about right for that video card. I have my specs in my sig and stock I got like 3500 and then I OC'ed my card, because dell underclocks them and I got 4500+...not bad. The X300 is not really a great gaming card.
Low PcMark Score!?
