I performed a clean install of XP professional on my I6000, downloaded all drivers and it's been great. The only problem I'm having is low volume when playing DVD's. I have everything on max including start->all programs->accessories->entertainment->volume control
Volume levels are fine for any files I play off my HD. Anyone know what I'm missing?
Thanks

What are you using as your decoder? I think the standard for Dell is CyberLink. I ran into this problem when I was using Nero as a decoder, but once I switched to CyberLink, then it worked fine.
You might also check and make sure that you don't have surround sound selected (control panel-->sound/audio-->first tab-->advanced (on speaker settings)
