I just upgraded my driver for my 8600GTM on my Inspiron 1520 and my Windows rating score actually went down, is that supposed to happen?

Also, does anyone know what I can use to overclock my 8600GTM?

SERIOUSLY, PLEASE STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE WEI SCORE!!!

It is a useless, Microsoft written, benchmark that has been proven to be highly dependent on drivers and software currently running. It has been wildly inconsistent across many laptops, and is so pointless I do not even bother reading about it.

Here...I'll rate your system for you:
    4.2,3.2,5.9,4.0,2.8

That is probably more accurate than WEI is, and I do not even know your full specs...

Anyway, to be blunt...that score does not matter and you should ignore it. Pay more attention to 3dMark scores, PCMark scores, and your own experience with gaming and other apps.

Oh, and to OC (if the drivers allow it) download nTune. Excellent utility.

    Ok, thanks.

It won't let me OC, is there anyway I can? Can I use a different driver? How do other people do it?
