I love my laptop for the simple reason that it works.
The problem in the title is the only problem I'm having where I the play in the monitor panel is waaay beyond normal.
How do I fix it? Can it be fixed on my own without sending it back to Dell for a new one?

Try to call dell regarding that so that they can guide you on what to do.
