Are the newer built notebooks coming out with the AUO screen?
I've heard the AUO screen is the best followed by samsung and toshiba.
Which screens do you have? thanks

AUO lcd rocks build date 12-9-06
saw the samsung at the local dell kiosk and i would havebeen really disappointed with it, my auo has no light leakage great angles and good colors so i am very happy -
mine arrives tomorrow and I just really hope I don't have to call a tech and have him come and replace it.
That's why I'm curious if the newer ones are being shipped with the AUO screen. The toshiba is awful so I've heard. -
all i know for sure the one i saw before christmas without the camera had a samsung and it was horrid bad angles and really grainy but i do know that the auo i have seems pretty perfect good blacks and very vivid colors and no graininess and really good viewing angles

by the way welcome to the 1210 family -
thank you thank you. I hope I'll be staying in the M1210 family.
If it's as bad as they say it is, then I'll be going to the Sony SZ.
I really hope I'm not disappointed with the screen and I really hope that it's a AUO. -
Iceman0124 More news from nowhere
I liked my samsung without cam much better than my aou with cam, the colors were much sharper and the backlight was much more uniform resulting in better viewing angles.
