Just received my new 1210 and right away I notice some weird pattern on the screen.

It is noticable mostly on the start menu or any dark areas. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.

It looks almost as if there is a fine screen (like a screen door) over the monitor.

    Any ideas?

32bit...but it does almost look 16bit (same effect)

I can see a difference in gradients if I switch between the two.

Does that same "problem" show up in the BIOS screen (or POST screen)?

Thanks for the tip. Looks like they are going to come replace the lcd.

Hopefully that takes care of it.
