Has anyone tried Battlefield 2142 retail or demo on their M1210 yet? I didn't expect Battlefield 2142 sound to stutter during gameplay. However, I hear stutter every 3 seconds, which is kind of annoying. Mine uses Sigmatel Audio Codec. I tried everything - software mode, low quality, EAX off, hardware acceleration off. I don't know what to try next. I don't care about crap sound; I just hope I can get this sound stuttering fixed.

Anyone have any ideas? Please let me know.

    Thank you for your attention!

Yes - this is a common issue. GO ahead and wipe out a lot of unneeded processes via cntrl+shft+esc. You need to have a feel for what you need and don't - there are threads on processes.

Usually that plus a reboot helps a lot. I suggest using Windows Defender's tools sections to monitor and control startup processes that eat up memory.
